Frequently Asked Questions

What is a homeschool Co-op?
There are many fine definitions of homeschool co-ops (short for cooperative). Co-ops vary in size and scope and are set up to meet the needs of a few families or a community. At their heart, they are a way for parents to facilitate learning in a cooperative environment. In our co-op, the instructor is a delegate, supporting the parent in their homeschooling leadership not taking over the role. It becomes a co-teaching effort, begun by the teacher but continued by the parent at home.
